A BETTER WORLD IS POSSIBLE

• Eight months after liftoff and 154 million miles from earth, Curiosity, an unmanned vehicle landed safely late Sunday in a huge crater near the equator of Mars ready to explore the red planet. The one-ton robot rover is the largest and most complex mobile laboratory ever set down on another planet. The landing was a major initial hurdle for a two-year, $2.5 billion project.
